The Bloom Collective is hosting a movie showing and letter writing night on Thursday, January 12. From 6:30pm to 7:00pm there will be soup and letter writing and then at 7 they will be showing If A Tree Falls: The Story of the Earth Liberation Front.

For those who want to know more about the Green Scare and the Earth Liberation Front (ELF), check out “Green Scared? Preliminary Lessons of the Green Scare” by Crimethinc. It provides a good overview of Operation Backfire, the ELF actions in the late 1990s/early 2000s, the Eugene anarchist space, and some of the lessons that anarchists can learn from that period.
